Opposition to Proposed Home Resulting in Net View Enhancement
A proposed new home was proposed to significantly impact the clients' existing views. With our assistance the design was modified to create a net improvement to views over the property. Three residents joined together in opposing the project and engaging Rigg Consulting.
Expert Witness Services
Mr. Rigg has provided expert witness services in a variety of trials regarding view impacts, drainage, and landslides. He recently assisted with a court victory that upholds view protections per the deed restrictions within Palos Verdes Estates.

Support of Proposed New Home
A proposed new home was vehemently opposed by a neighbor whose home was orientated to look over the proposed home. After being hired by the applicant, we prepared arguments, letters, and PowerPoints that were used to prove to the Planning Commission that the proposal should be approved, which it was the next meeting.
Coastal Development Permits
The rainstorms of 2023 caused a variety of bluff failures on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Mr. Rigg was able to gain approval for bluff restoration for a home damaged by the rains. This was after the original approval by a Planning Commission was denied by the State due to a variety of issues.
